Pros
- Very competitive pay - Nice office spaces - Stocked Kitchen - Free lunch one day a week - Interesting industry to work in - Some very smart people sprinkled throughout the company (especially C-level team) - They go above and beyond for the initial training process
Cons
- Bad vacation/sick plan (15 days for the year combined vacation and sick that you have to earn throughout the year). You get Christmas Day off but not Christmas Eve. No one is looking to talk high-level SEO on Christmas Eve - No flexibility on work from home or flex-hours. You are made to feel guilty if you ask to leave early or need to work from home - No 401K match - Top level leadership is very smart but the mid-level managers always seem confused and have no real authority over anything. Takes days and multiple emails to get answers to simple questions. This leads to employees not having clear leadership when it comes to internal issues, career growth, and help with clients - A lot of people use the "were a start-up" phrase for why processes frequently change, the high turnover in certain departments, etc. but this company has been around for a decade. That isn't a valid excuse. There is always room to improve but basic processes should be in place by now
