Pros

Unlimited PTO at managers approval if paid over $100K.

Cons

CBRE DCS is only interested in the almighty dollars. Will tell you they support you and have your back. Reality is that are only looking at the dollars from the client. As soon as there is a problem - they are looking for someone to blame. A minor outage that even the client said was not an issue and none impacting. CBRE will terminate supposedly for cause - without any severance and PTO payout. Additionally they have been short changing their hourly employees. Charging the client for a 10% shift differential but never paying it to the whitespace employees. The M&E team they do. Raise any issues up to the Ethics hotline.... "Yes we take all complaints very seriously, will investigate and let you know of the outcome" Total BS - never follow up and sweep it under the rug. The local team lead creates a toxic work environment but because he is a yes man to leadership - it all slides. Does not share information.

Pros

Honestly? Not much. The vision insurance was decent, I guess. Truthfully though, there wasn't much.

Cons

Management's refusal to allow employees freedom. I routinely got praise from the client and hit the maximum score on my goals. If things weren't done "by the book", they were wrong. The health insurance was awful. Going to self-employment, one of the things that you hear is that you're going to pay a lot for health insurance. However, I'm actually paying LESS than when I worked for CBRE. When you work for CBRE, don't consider job security something that you're going to have. I saw two employees with 15+ years for the company get laid off, with zero severance and no option to transfer elsewhere, unless they wanted to uproot their families and move states for more work and a pay cut. This is the worst company that I've ever had the displeasure to work for. If you have literally any other option of employment, please consider doing that.
