Pros

I'd say there are no pro's.

Cons

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Caesars Entertainment, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of a disaster. From start to finish, this company showcased a level of incompetence and mismanagement that left me questioning how they remain in business. First and foremost, the management at Caesars Entertainment seems to be on a mission to set a new standard for ineptitude. It's clear that the leadership lacks the basic skills required to run a successful operation. Their decision-making processes are slow and riddled with confusion, making it nearly impossible for the organization to adapt to changing circumstances. The company's strategy, if you can even call it that, is shockingly unimaginative. It's as if they've taken a page from a 20-year-old business textbook and refused to evolve. Caesars Entertainment appears stuck in a time warp, unwilling to embrace innovative ideas or modern trends. This lack of creativity is evident in every aspect of their operations. But let's talk about their application – an absolute disaster. The user interface is a labyrinth of confusion, and navigating through it feels like trying to find your way out of a maze blindfolded. The application itself is incredibly broken, with glitches and errors galore. It's astonishing that a company of this size and reputation could release such a subpar product. And don't get me started on their release processes. It's like they threw darts at a board to determine when and how to launch updates or new features. The result? An ongoing cycle of chaos, with each release introducing more problems than solutions. It's as if they have no regard for quality control or customer satisfaction. In conclusion, my experience with Caesars Entertainment was nothing short of a nightmare. With bad management, terrible processes, an unimaginative strategy, and an incredibly broken application and release processes, this company is a shining example of how not to run a business. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere

Pros

Peers and teammates are supportive of each other. For a digital organization, the pay was very good but I believe they've significantly reduced salaries. Some of the managers were very good.

Cons

The Caesars Digital team operated in a flat organization, where some GMs were trying to actively manage teams of 75-150 individuals. Career growth is almost non-existent as a result. C-suite management was non-existent and came from finance or hospitality backgrounds. Org success was purely tied to annual EBITDA and without understanding of how a digital/engineering organization should be run, resulting in disconnected employees (most of whom were remote), lack of scalable structure, and zero oversight.
