Pros
Pay and bonus were good. Lots of opportunities to promote from within. Management listened to my career aspirations and gave me experience in the areas that I wanted to grow into.
Cons
Cyclical nature of oil and gas left everyone concerned about their career. Layoffs were always looming. I worked at the company for 6 years and had 6 different bosses in that time.
