Pros

Great discount and exciting celebrity and other fun collaborations. Bonuses can be lucrative if you are in the top tier stores. Separate PTO and sick time.

Cons

Management is very into the “Coach look” and will not hire if you don’t have it. Management plays favorites for stores and there is little career advancement if you do not work at the higher tier stores. Management gaslights employees and if the one manager does not like you, you will get passed over. She will throw you under the bus at any opportunity to save herself as she never owns up to any management mistakes to the higher ups. She has been in her job so long by severing ties at a moments notice if at beneficial. Essentially, it is like being in high school with a bunch of people who are too old to still be gossiping and pressuring their peers the way they do. With the constant turn around, stores are understaffed and there is a black our period for requesting any days off for November and December. If you are not inline to be a store manager, there are no other career paths. Product is created cheaply in China and vietnam, not made in USA the way many people think and product will not last.

Pros

- fast paced days with lots of client interaction and team building moments - fun product dropped monthly with opportunities to be the first to own popular drops - opportunities to grow* - a great starting place to learn how to provide an elevated shopping experience and learn how to build a client book

Cons

- * Opportunities to grow only present themselves if you have a positive relationship with the management team and/or the DM - Corporate tends to lead on candidates and promise advancements or change verbally but little is done to correct behavior or advance within the company - Your store manager will determine whether the team is harmonious and fair, can be a double edged sword - you will be asked to do tasks or take on projects outside of your position with no additional compensation. It will be heavily frowned upon to decline said opportunities and tended to lead to being denied advancements - during ICE activities in the city, Coach refused to make a statement and or provide guidelines to how we as a store should respond. Associates were punished for absences related back to ICE activities
