It didn't matter if you were working there for 4 years or 4 days, it seemed like nothing was fair to the employee. Constantly you'd be told to take on floors that we're much more difficult than your co-workers floors. Corporate is to blame, since initially we had 7 hosts to work with, but during the COVID pandemic, we were shrunk down to 6. It stayed that way since then. Making people who had rougher floors fall behind, and get late. We would be late and struggle if not for supervisor intervention, god bless their souls. God forbid you come on a day where there's only one other host and your supervisor only. 3 people, and sometimes over 170 people to feed. It doesn't take an Einstein to see how bad that is. While some managers did care about us, and we're always looking out for our best interest. It was all a facade, if they could, they'd force positions onto that aren't yours in order to cut costs. While the importance of costs and funds isn't lost on me. It starts to take a toll on workers, such as myself who worked for the company for over 4 years, constantly pulling favors, staying overtime sometimes upwards until 9pm at night. Furthermore the favoritism of certain employees was so thick, you can cut it with a knife. It's clear who managers and bosses prioritized as their "Golden Goose" meanwhile, they turn a blind eye to employees just trying to get by. The company's (Compass Group USA) motto of "Openness, Trust and Integrity" is anything but.
