Pros
Make own schedule. Benefits are strong.
Cons
Spent 5+ years in this role. Company began to micro manage and shove activities and busy work down our throats. Job lost any fun factor it had with all of the heat coming down from management. You will be micromanaged. Used to be so much freedom here, it has turned into a typical corporate regime. They do yearly wage reviews and normally give a slight bump in salary, but it's quickly followed by "now we expect you to do even more with our stale product and here is some added stress for you sprinkled in". They preach so much change is coming, yet, contract volume stayed roughly the same, even decreased a bit over my tenure. Company will never grow to where they say they are going unless they decide to pay dealers more money and adapt to current market conditions when they happen. It takes over a year for the simplest things to happen here. If you have a good DOS life is slightly easier, if not best of luck to you. LOTS of smoke and mirrors.
