Pros

Double Negative serves as a good footstool to get your first film credit and to get a decent reel after graduation. They also pay for your dinner, if you're willing to stay to work late.

Cons

Little to no employment benefit Slim chance at career advancement. The management does not care for the artists. The promises of training junior staff to take on senior roles got us buzzing with excitement the first few months. But then a year later, nothing had materialised. It pays to keep your ears open to gossip here in Dneg. Especially when there's talk of layoff or closure of office. If you're looking to create dazzling vfx, you might be disappointed with the large amount of invisible VFX work that comes through the studio. Management will create a hoo-hah about junior artists coming in 20 minutes late, but don't care for the after work hours that the same artists put in. Also, senior staff are allowed to come and go at any hour they please. (It's good to be senior staff!)
