Pros
The brand name is about it. As they say, it's a good place to START with out of college. Stay away if you are experienced, though. They pay for your credentialing exams (CPA etc.), but then most firms do.
Cons
Where to start? Everything that sucks about Corporate America, this firm offers. BORING repetitive work with no real-world impact, lack of any real team culture, idiotic by-the-hour billing system encourages non-productivity, out-of-touch management. Busy season is the same as above, but longer hours. They hire smart people and do their level best to grind them down in the lonely cubicles. If you are even half-way intelligent and self-motivated, there's no good reason to stick around here for more than 2 years maximum. The lifers are all robots. Recently they have been shipping people off to some Consulting compliance-type projects, which have no relation to FAS work, so employee morale is at an all-time low.
