Pros

Got to meet lots of people and talk about their goals and educate folks on how investing works, buying stocks and bonds, retirement, financing items, credit, and mutual funds. Loved that part, hated the hustle and pushing part of making the numbers and accounts.

Cons

Guaranteed 3 year salary (with step downs) goes away in only a few months if you do not meet the really high sales goals. Dropped so low I was making $1,100.00 per month. And once you are behind it is nearly impossible to catch up. You need to work 6 days a week to make the numbers. You will be walking door to door in a full suit and tie in the summer and winters to get leads.

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
