Pros

Excellent Support, Low Stress, Great Retirement Plan, No Micro-managing, Good Hourly Pay, You do NOT have to have a degree

Cons

Fixed Income. As a BOA your bonuses are tied to the success of the advisor you are supporting which can change at any moment. No chance to make additional income if you have a new or low-performing advisor so bonuses are not guaranteed. No chance for advancement unless you go commission only and become an FA. Health Ins is high deductible/HSA (but they do contribute to HSA) it's ok if you don't have kids

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
