Management doesn’t know what they’re doing, and they don’t trust the actual subject matter experts they have on their teams. They hire people in roles who do not have the adequate skills or knowledge for the role. It’s a very “old school” company where people stay for life and just shuffle around into positions they’re not actually qualified for. Lots of talk and little action. Blocked at every step of the way. No progress. Management doesn’t really listen or understand the problems of associates.
