Pros
Good work-life balance once you have a big enough book of business; get to run your own branch; Sr Management trying to have firm catch up to rest of industry
Cons
No training on prospecting, lots of changes happening all at once - can be overwhelming, firm changing its focus from being the “every-man’s” financial services firm to servicing only HNW and ultra-HNW clients and moving towards servicing company 401k beyond just sole proprietorships and small business, w/o a goodknight meeting performance metrics is challenging especially if new to the industry, no longer being a profitable branch exempts you from PIPS and risk of termination if not hitting your numbers, contrary to what they tell you at corporate training door-knocking is still being pushed hard by regional and level leaders!
