Pros

There are a handful of nice people there

Cons

I just don't have enough time to write all of the cons but you know when you have to record conversations with your manager that it is time to leave! So many broken promises, incentives that are never rewarded and a person who's only talent is making people feel uncomfortable! The person referred to on here many times has overseen so many hires and then watch them leave that I honestly can't believe the management/owners don't see him as the problem! Contacting staff on their days off and out of hours (being an over communicator as they describe it!) and lying about so much that he regularly forgets what he has lied about to customers and staff alike. They talk about growth and opportunities but really the only thing they are scaling is chaos and poor organisation. The company started out by agreeing to do a job they didn't have the skills to do and finding a sub contractor to do it and that's basically what they do, say they will do an amazing job and then get your local builder to do it and add on a huge uplift! And as for growth, lets just say that if they carry on losing any more contracts and customers the highly overpaid senior leadership team will need to take a pay cut.

Pros

Learned some knowledge from experts

Cons

I believed that staying here for an extended period of time might have a positive impact—possibly the treatment from harsh managers would change or the situation would improve. Yet, I was mistaken. The situation only worsened. Since I had heard many people describing farcroft as an exceptional opportunity—even a hidden gem, I decided to join the group. I regret to inform you that this was entirely inaccurate. However, the reality behind the scenes is far from impressive, despite the fact that working here might appear good on your CV, particularly if you want to break into the restoration or heritage sector. I’m confidence that this company was going to help me in the building of a brighter future. To the opposite, they damaged my mental health. I was expected to perform without support, subjected to poor management with no accountability, and perpetually overwhelmed by multiple tasks at once. Showing favoritism is common, particularly to individuals who serve coffee or flatter the appropriate people. A lack of respect, structure, and genuine support is present. Disguised as a "prestigious" workplace, it is a toxic environment. Run if you are thinking about joining. Working here is not advisable for individuals who consider their personal development, growth, or fundamental respect in the workplace.

Pros

Seriously nothing at all good to say about the place.

Cons

I would sit here and re-write my entire previous message that had been removed (due to me trying to hide my identity by creating a false job title) but in all honestly I can't be bothered. I feel the need to make it abundantly clear that this is a truly awful place to work. Degrading, harassing, and downright soul crushing. It's amusing to see the owners and directors of the business have clearly been leaving their own reviews (this is very easy to spot after years of working for these people and clearly being able to recognise the cadence of each review.) I have never in my whole life had a job as bad as this one, and my life has improved immeasurably since leaving.
