Pros

You work at home, no time or travel expense.

Cons

Lack of communication. Instead of dealing with the correct department, you go through your coach for any answers. If you're lucky you'll get one, most of the time you don't. Lack of information. You have goals to meet to get commission. You're never told what they are, were you stand each week and what goal you need to raise, to get your commission. You may know more than your coach and policies are not dealt with in the same manner for each individual. They don't appreciate good help when they have it, they want to pay the least amount to their employees, no raises and no gain. Also, good luck on schedules and days off. They promise and say a lot, but don't hold your breath.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
