Pros

It's very good to be able to work at home and not have to lose time during the day on transports

Cons

1. The salary offered is very low, especially when you spend entire shifts speaking a foreign language. The gross salary that is offered is higher than the minimum wage, but after the discounts, to IRS an Social Security we end up earning less than someone who earns the minimum wage. 2. Still on the salary theme, the company doesn't offer a meal allowance for people who work at home. People who work at home still have the necessity to eat. Instead we are paid 15€, that are DEDUCTABLE, for expenses (internet and electricity). I'm pretty sure every worker agrees they would rather be paid a meal allowance than this. 3. Management is bad, and even though they have very good trainers, training wasn't enough to prepare workers for the daily job. People who are in management and are supposed to help you, sometimes know even less than a person who started recently. 4. You'll be promised in an interview that you'll have consecutive days off, and rarely separate days off. This is a lie. You'll have separate days off, and rarely have consecutive days off. I know cases like myself with more than one month in a row without consecutive days off.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
