Pros

I learned a lot in this sink or swim atmosphere. I learned i can survice almost anything. There were some good people in the group in which I worked. Some were very helpful.

Cons

Overworked, underappreciated people - unless you were one of the favored ones. It was definitely a "what have you done for me lately" atmosphere. I think most of the people stayed because of the pay and benefits. Not many companies in the area that pay that well. The turnover in the Phoenix end of our group was very high. 18 months to 36 months.

Pros

Dedicated professionals to allocate responsibilities; clear learning objectives; opportunities to assist engineers in the field.

Cons

Upper-tier management is a bit disorganized. Nobody seems to know what was promised in our contracts. Our scope is a bit vague sometimes.

Pros

Interesting product offerings, learning both global and domestic industry, ability to climb the ladder and have career growth if you work hard. Great people within the business.

Cons

Honeywell corporate culture is very negative. They don't really care about employees, and many executive level managers will ask for things that require late night and weekend work. There is very little work life balance, and no cross training so you still may be contacted or expected to pitch in while you are on vacation.
