Pros
There's a specific kind of satisfaction that comes from being handed a blank canvas and trusted to build something that actually matters. That's what my time at Increff felt like. Operations at a rapidly scaling SaaS company serving enterprise retail clients is never simple, but the problems were always interesting and the leadership always had my back when I needed resources or decisions moved quickly. No bureaucracy, no politics — just people trying to build something excellent together. I worked alongside the founding team closely enough to understand not just what they wanted to build, but why. That clarity of purpose is energising in a way that's hard to manufacture. The compensation was competitive, and the experience I gathered here has been the most commercially valuable of my career. I left on the best of terms and carry tremendous respect for what Increff is doing.
Cons
The part of compensation goes into company performance, which can be looked to attach to individual's performance. This would help employees have a control on the payout.
