Pros
Data was at the center of every conversation, and the ability to AB test at a massive scale with incredible tools and talented engineers put indeed in the upper echelon of tech companies of this era.
Cons
Sometimes we didn't have the data we needed — often qual — but the culture was so data driven that we made the best decision we could with the data we had, and in hindsight, in those cases, it would have been better to make the decision based on gut or first principles.
