I worked as a Software Engineering Intern in Streaming Team at IEC, Bangalore. Very good place to work and associate with. They value their employee much. A lot of intelligent people to work with. You will learn a lot of new Technologies. Decent pay for an Intern. Different and new kind of work. Lots of food, free lunches... you can order whatever you want every day. Friday beer bash, Lots of things to play, relax. New office. Good resources. Fast growing. Very challenging work which helps an Intern to learn more. They provide accommodation to intern(s).
Cons
Though people are helpful, to what extent can they teach the intern. No training and fresher may face issues initially to learn and adapt to the work. Every day is challenging. They expect us to know everything and start working from the first day which may be difficult for a fresher. The work is not common or regular which you may see in other companies, the work is a kind of unique and is not expected to teach in a college. Some pressure and daily "Scrum" to be reported. The recruiting team needs to be developed. Lack of MNC environment as it is a startup. Pressure to grow and launch a product fast may change the output which is expected.
