Pros

I guess working from home

Cons

I was employed at Ipsos for 8 months through an agency. Initially, it seemed alright, but the compensation is on the lower end, making it more suitable for short-term employment or a supplementary job. A benefit is its work-from-home model, saving you travel costs. The role, however, often involves cold calling, which can be challenging given the number of uninterested or sometimes irate respondents. While some campaigns are engaging, others tend to be lengthy and monotonous, with a mandated script that can frustrate both you and the caller. Regarding the team dynamics, some supervisors, despite their marginal pay difference, tend to exhibit a superiority complex. Their interruptions during live calls can be disorienting. Furthermore, during certain periods like last May, there were gaps in campaigns, leading to unexpected breaks in shifts. It's essential to understand that relying solely on this job can lead to unpredictability in income.
