Pros

My coworkers make life at Kohl's tolerable. They are some of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met. Additionally, there are a few managers who are decent here too.

Cons

Senior management is only concerned with the numbers (ie how many credit applications the associates open every day, did the store make the daily sales goal or not). Favoritism runs rampant at this store and some managers practically ignore you if you aren't one of their pets. Senior management also will lie to your face and tell you what you want to hear so you will leave them alone (for example, if you bring up your concerns about the number of hours you are getting they will tell you it will get better even if they don't mean it). I've always been a very hard-working employee but I'm getting increasingly frustrated by the way business is conducted here. It seems like management is trying to get some of the employees to quit.

Pros

None. I was hired to be a person that restocks and cleans, they saw I was able to ring up and put me as a cashier.

Cons

Very little pay, terrible training, horrible management and some terrible customers. Disgusting location also, I went to a manager about toilet paper out in the women restroom, he told me it was a morning task. It was 7pm, the store closed at 11pm! Also CASHIERS ARE LYING YO CUSTOMERS TO GET THEM TO OPEN CREDIT CARDS! Shady stuff I heard as a cashier. Also during my interview no one showed up, when I called the manager made it seem like I was bugging her for my interview
