Pros
Work from home. You're close to your family. The experience acquired in interpretation.
Cons
There's no communication with management or any department because everything is done by request or email. The managers barely ever contact you and when they do they nick pick every single detail. What they don't consider is that we have so little breaks and so many calls, some of which extend 45 minutes in time, leave us mentally exhausted. I have to totally unwind after my shift because of the great stress created by rude clients, and rude people who speak your second language. I honestly feel like if this company expects perfection from employees. But they give back so little in the rate of pay, in not showing appreciation, in so many ways I can't even describe.
