Pros

Great benefits plan, great place to work, great culture that leads to improvement

Cons

Low Salaries, hard to move to a different position inside the company, there are a lot of bad practices when it comes to the chance of moving toa different position, for some reason they pick employees who have been in the company for 3 or more years in an entry position that someone with 1 or 2 years on a more professional role, sometimes, Monterrey location employee people without a bachelor degree.

It is good to hear from you....thank you for your time with us. Lenovo is a great place to work, with great employees. Lenovo will continue to take a look at improving internal opportunities for our employees. We do like employees to actively apply to our jobs on our internal job posting site. Sometimes additional skills and experience become apparent during the interview process. We wish that all interested employees apply for our positions. Best Wishes!

Pros

Interesting work, good benefits, talented colleagues

Cons

Terrible manager behavior, terrible work-life balance, with no recourse or support for employees. I joined and quickly found that the ED I reported to had no experience in the area he oversaw, would not listen to anyone who had experience, was mean to his team members, and set wildly unrealistic expectations without any clear direction or consistency. Bullying, meanness and pointless criticism were the norm, while leadership was completely lacking. And if you work on the Digital Transformation team, expect to spend from 8PM-11PM at night and early morning on calls, with little regard for sleep or work-life balance. The worst part was finding out that the HR team was already well aware of all these problems with my ED (the two other managers under him quit), and the leadership team had no intention of making any changes. So disappointing.
