Pros

Large company with many international opportunities if you are a senior employee. Good exam support for actuarial students.

Cons

If you work in the Seattle office, expect your career advancement to be noticeably slower than those in Boston, and you'll have fewer opportunities, and when it comes to choosing actuarial rotations, the preferences of the Boston actuarial students will tend to take precedence over yours. While management continually denies that there is any disparity because they don't want to admit that they treat the Seattle employees as second-rate, many employees agree that there is a noticeable disparity.

Pros

Decent pay, way to start in insurance, decent training, nice facility with lots of parking.

Cons

Unbelievable workload that cannot be completed in an 8 hour period. However, it is expected to be done with no overtime allowed. Coworkers crying at their desk due to receiving a weeks worth of work in 1 day. Can crush all of your marks just to be met with well for this reason you only meets, so here is your 3%.
