Pros
Lockheed Martin is a great company to work for as the benefits are excellent. The 9/80 work schedule along with flexible hours is an added bonus. Many jobs are quite interesting and challenging, however be cautious of the many non technical routine and monotonous assignments that many engineers find themselves working.
Cons
There are many large programs and projects which is good. However, many engineers find themselves with a very small routine non-technical assignment. If you desire technical work choose your position very carefully. Many engineers are well paid document writers or readers, database managers, data collectors, meeting coordinators and moderators. Most of which require little engineering knowledge.
