Pros
Very few!!! Some nice people and a fairly nice physical environment. The buck stops there.
Cons
This was, without a doubt, one of the very worst jobs I've ever had. Somehow I managed to attain true enemies within my first week on the job! After that, it was all downhill. Management was a joke. My boss couldn't have found her way out of a paper bag with a map. I try to find something possitive about most jobs, but that was impossible at this job. I was told that I was sitting wrong in a meeting, I was standing in the wrong place making a phone call, I should produce two totally different things at the same time at 4:30pm on a Friday and MUST provide both. It was a gruelling experience and I'm sorry I ever darkened their doors. If you don't mind a stressful environment and you're lucky enough to get a boss you like - it's not bad, I'm sure. Otherwise, they will make your life a living hell, and that's no joke. NO points to Macy's. They treat their people very badly, the benefits are horrible, and as usual, rules are not applied evenly and discrimination is rife. People were screamed at on many conference calls. Backstabbing is rewarded. IT people are forced to work more than the legal number of hours with no perks and if you don't like 'telling tales' on your fellow employees, you'll have nothing to do and no one to talk to.
