good pay, and discount but it just means that most of your paycheck ends up coming back to them anyways

originally promoted as flexible for student employment. i was hired by one manager who agreed to do so and had a new manager who rolled her eyes at me every time i asked her to fix my schedule. they knew my availability and ignored it because it didnt fit their rotating schedules. i was never informed that i would be scheduled in this manner. Senior employees do less work than new employees and steal sales because if they've been there long enough, they are still on commission. Really difficult to get recognized for your work and customers take their frustrations out on you. also had to open credit cards which is nearly impossible when most customers already had one. there were even some associates who purposefully would open new accounts when customers needed address changes, as macys pays out when you open an account. not much, but $2-4 adds up when you do this consistently.
