Pros
The people that work on your level are great. Some immediate supervisors are as great as well. Pay is good, but only after after a few years of taking endless classes.
Cons
Upper management does NOT care one iota about the little people. A few years ago this could have been called a dream job. Now, it's an absolute nightmare. We are understaffed, and so the workload is extremely overwhelming and unreasonable. They keep expecting more and more and more out of you. When you mention that you're overworked and overwhelmed (which I've done several times) you're told management is aware; but the slap in the face is that nothing is being done about it. We're down so many employees I've lost track. I thought since we all kept the business afloat from our dining room tables for the last year and half thanks to covid, that they would consider allowing us to continue to work from home. Clearly we've earned that right. It's time for NJM to enter this century.
