Good place to learn, great environment, a lot of interaction with other departments. Big exposure to direction and upper management. It is possible to be involved in new products and able to take big decisions in all levels.
Cons
Very difficult to grow, the impression is that management does not look for technical knowledge or talents to promote, they are more interested in personal interaction.
