Pros

Pay was good, health benefits where good.

Cons

Management does not listen to employees. I brought ethics violations and federal contracting violations by a sub-contractor manager to the attention of Northrop Grumman management and I was given the excuse "He's the manager" by my Northrop Grumman management. Those excuses cost Northrop yet another employee because I cleaned out my desk and walked off the job because I was not going to deal with the corrupt sub-contractor manager who was introducing risk into the government contract without government permission and making it impossible to do what I was hired to do. Northrop black lists employees who leave under duress or other than desirable circumstances and give negative feedback to potential employers when doing an employment background check. This was verified by an associate who called NG and posed as an employer seeking to hire me.

Pros

Hybrid work environment (currently two days in office). Decent PTO that does carry over. Quarterly 1:1 with manager.

Cons

Lack of advancement opportunities unless you are willing to relocate, even than it's still difficult. no cross training or shadowing opportunities for those that want to advance career. Could be better at retaining the good, experienced staff before they leave to go elsewhere.
