Directors and Managers are highly political. I have seen three AWFs with no college educations get hired one simply due to politics (popularity contest). We had a college educated AWF serve our team for a year and did not get hired on because she worked too hard and did not participate the the B.S. politics. She deserved to get hired on as she put our small team on the map and added tremendous value.
