Pros

- Nice staff. - some supportive members of staff. - free parking. - parking permit. -local shops near building

Cons

- all talk. No training until 4 months into a 6 month probation. Failed my probation and extended it and failed it anyway... -remote team lead so never had in person training. Hardly any communication. -poor communication from managers. - poor recruitment process. - poor/no mental health support!! - Having no documentation on their internal apps. Left to figure it out yourself. - no training provided by management. - The managers held all of the knowledge and didn't pass it around the team. Think they like having that power over other staff members. However this didn't allow me to better support the team lead (which was my job too) You're led to believe you're doing well and it's the complete opposite.

We don’t shy away from seeking continuous improvement and to be the best we can be at giving all our employees a supportive and rewarding environment in which to thrive. This year we are focusing on helping our managers grow to be the be best they can be, are working on a comprehensive wellbeing approach, have enhanced our recruitment process for developers, and we are also developing more comprehensive training documents for our junior developers. We review all feedback, including that from our internal mental health awareness week, as it helps make PayStream a better company for everyone. Pros

The job is interesting and there is room to move in the company.

Cons

This is a department that fosters bullying. Team members are deliberately left out of conversation and activities by groups of people frequently. Teams are allowed to obviously bully and leave out some staff members with nothing done about it. Team events and nights out are organised in plain ear shot of employees who are purposefully not invited. Group chats take place between staff members again excluding certain people and this is made incredibly obvious that you are being left out or talked about. "Team" lunches bought but only for specific people. You might as well be invisible while you sit there on your own and everyone talks around you.

Pros

I’ve been working at PayStream for a couple of months now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best places I’ve worked. The culture is genuinely supportive, and the people are what make this company stand out. Everyone is welcoming - from advisors to directors - and the atmosphere is collaborative and inclusive. It’s refreshing to be in a workplace where people are genuinely willing to help. The work is challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. Excitingly, the company is expecting exponential growth over the coming months - which promises great opportunities. If you’re looking for a company where you can genuinely feel part of a team, develop your skills, and enjoy your work - while being with a company that truly prioritises development - then PayStream is a great place to be.

Cons

There are no cons for me.
