Hi there,
Thanks for taking time to share your thoughts and for the contributions you made to PerfectServe.
Scapegoating is an easy trap to fall into because it allows you to shift blame—almost like an unfortunate game of hot potato. But if it becomes a regular practice to scapegoat former team members, inquiring minds will naturally wonder how challenges or problems are always conveniently the fault of people who are no longer around to offer a different version of the story.
Our entire leadership team understands that scapegoating is often just a search for easy answers to difficult questions. In the competitive world of healthcare IT, that kind of behavior is not something you'll find in the longest-running or most successful businesses. We like to think our 25-year track record is evidence that PerfectServe is a resilient, forward-thinking company full of smart people who can accurately take stock of what they're doing right and what they need to do better. We welcome disagreement, and we're not afraid to make mistakes. The journey to success is not linear!
Company values are a different discussion, but we can assure you that we apply them to every decision we make. One of our goals for 2023 is to make them even more visible, both internally and externally. We want everyone to have a complete understanding of the principles that guide us.
Thanks again for your feedback, and best of luck in the future.
