Pros
Pinterest used to feel very unique, humble, fun, inspiring, inclusive and warm. There are still really great, smart people, remote work is a huge benefit these days.
Cons
Today, the culture is a combination of really great people who believe in those things but the new folks are trying to change it to become a much more competitive, corporate, hierarchical environment that’s solely focused on pacing other companies. The pay is less than other major tech companies, the CEO lacks authenticity and clarity around his vision for the future. There will be pockets of great teams but you really have to decide that for yourself. It’s not for everyone.
