-> Relationships now outweigh skills, talent, and actual results — meritocracy feels increasingly eroded (who you are friends with is more important than anything else). -> People are often supportive to your face, yet act differently behind the scenes. -> Strong talent has either left, been pushed out, or burned out under unsustainable pressure. -> At the same time, the company missed the AI inflection point, prioritizing short-term optics over long-term strategy. -> I was laid off without explanation or reason or PIP, lost years of near-vesting equity, and received no severance.
