Pros

- I have not seen any other company investing in their people so much as Planful does (It's my 3rd company). They really care about the employees - Paying $10-$20k more than the standard pay rate for SDR role (The commissions helps too) - Love the Palooza (company wide annual meeting) organised by HR team (feels like a mini vacation you get paid for) - Great work-life balance opportunity

Cons

- Planful is a challenger in the FP&A space so growth is slow in emerging markets which also means slow career progression

Pros

Like many companies, last year had its challenges, but it's exciting to see the growth and momentum we've built this year. One of the biggest investments has been in Customer Success, and growing our team means we're able to better support our customers during a time of rapid change across the industry, especially with AI. I also appreciate that people here are empowered to make things happen. There's a real bias toward action, and you're encouraged to go to the source, collaborate across teams, and bring ideas forward. It's also great to see the company continuing to invest in new ways to strengthen our culture and support employees.

Cons

As a growing company, things move quickly and priorities can shift. That means you have to be comfortable with change and be willing to adapt. While it can be challenging at times, I see it as part of the company's evolution and the work we're doing to better support our customers and each other.

Pros

Having been in the Planful ecosystem for several years, I have seen the company transition through a few different phases. What I can say without hesitation, is there are many high quality individuals that work here, and the culture has always been very strong. I personally feel I've gained a sense of accomplishment, that my job matters and the ability to do my job has never been diminished or jeopardized by a lack of support or resources. Further, the software truly helps customers do their job better.

Cons

Every company goes through ebbs and flows, peaks and valleys, and I think Planful is no different. The company is going through a transition period and I think that can be difficult for some employees to handle; especially those who are newer to the company and don't have the historical context around how and why changes need to be made. Leadership turnover, reductions in force and shifting investments into different areas of the business can cause friction and upheaval, but I believe it can be likened to "ripping off the band-aid." Sometimes, it has to be done and there is short-term pain associated with sudden change. Good or bad, it doesn't necessarily mean that wounds don't heal.
