Pros

Priceline Pause and office in Empire State Building

Cons

Low salary for market management team, disconnect between leadership and individual contributors, and going in office with high rent at Empire State Building does not seem smart toward ebitda and overall spending amidst lower profits

Thanks for sharing your perspective. We’re glad you’re enjoying benefits like the Priceline Pause. We believe in the positive effects of teams working together collaboratively in our offices in a hybrid work environment. We also recognize the importance of compensation and growth. We regularly benchmark pay against the external market, and support career growth through opportunities like new responsibilities, project work, mentorship programs, and promotions. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to work with your Manager on an Individual Development Plan to guide your next steps. We also want to ensure employees feel connected and aligned across teams. If that hasn’t been your experience, we encourage you to raise it with your Manager or HR Business Partner so we can learn more. Thank you for your feedback and for being a valued member of our team.

Pros

- Back to office minimum is 2 days a week which in NY is very good - Solid and stable company, lean and profitable in Booking Holdings - Opportunity to work on many topics - Good culture amongst peers and colleagues. I've found people very helpful and collaborative. - daily catered lunch in office

Cons

- Being lean means prioritizing ruthlessly, so sometimes initiatives will have to go the backlog - I did find that a lot of people take on more than their JD (there's amazing accountability), which also means that people can be very busy.

Thanks for the thoughtful review! We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the flexibility of our hybrid model, the collaborative culture, and the opportunity to work across a broad range of projects. You’re right that we operate with a lean approach - it’s something we monitor closely to make sure teams have what they need to succeed. We ask teams to stay focused on the work that will have the biggest impact, and that sometimes means making tough prioritization decisions. If day-to-day priorities ever feel unclear, we encourage employees to partner with their Manager to help align on focus areas and impact. Thanks again for the feedback and for being part of the Priceline team!
