Pros

For the most part, people were nice and fun.

Cons

Terrible management and training. Project managers won't help you or answer questions. Very cut throat. In the end, a coworker told me to get out while I had the chance. I did.

I am so sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience while working at Protiviti. We are heavily focused on being a firm that is collaborative and supportive. I realize that unfortunately you didn't have that experience, and I will absolutely share your feedback. Best of luck to you in the future!

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
