Pros
- Qualcomm has some cool hardware teams in Silicon Valley. - Can be a great place to pick up some embedded software or test engineering skills. - Good work-life balance - Free drinks/sodas
Cons
- Not as many opportunities as San Diego HQ - Feels like projects in the Bay Area are treated as experimental, and HQ is fine cutting entire teams/divisions - Takes a little too long to get promoted. Some employees deserve a promotion at least a year before it finally happens. - Salary is noticeably less than similar companies nearby, but Qualcomm's health, bonuses, and RSU program outweigh most companies.
