I’ve always respected Randstad for its strong reputation and professional presence in the recruiting industry — which makes my recent experience especially disappointing. Over the past few months, I’ve encountered multiple last-minute changes and inconsistencies during the hiring process — including an offer that was rescinded on my scheduled start date, and another role where key terms changed the night before I was set to begin. Despite repeated follow-ups, clear communication and accountability have been difficult to obtain. I’m not sharing this out of anger, but out of genuine concern. Candidates put an incredible amount of trust in recruiters and staffing firms, often making major life and financial decisions based on their word. That trust should be respected and protected. I sincerely hope that Randstad’s corporate leadership reviews how these situations are handled, and that communication standards are strengthened to ensure fairness and transparency for future candidates.
