Pros
Initially offered great salary, benefits, and work-life balance. Doing impactful work in a steady industry. Smart, hardworking, and innovative employees...but there's only a few left now. Decent severance lol. I really did love my job here, and expected to remain with the company for a long tenure, right up until the layoffs.
Cons
I wouldn't be surprised if they completely go under by end of this year. They just laid off 2/3 of their workforce with ZERO notice. Like communicated to the company Wednesday morning at 10am, and people were locked out of laptops by 2pm the same day. They were NOT transparent at all about the status of the company. As early as a week before the layoffs, we were being told how great our financials were and how we were doing well + meeting goals. Then they just shut everything down. I'm pretty sure my manager wasn't made aware of the fact that they'd be laying off their whole team until less than 24 hours before. If you value stability, an employer that treats people like humans, and a basic level of respect + transparency, run for the hills.
