Pros

- Flex time when needed - Great sales and marketing training for entry level employees who want to make a career out of recruiting (#1 in the industry and they know it) - Tons of recruiting resources and corporate training sessions - Nice location close to Millennium Park

Cons

- It’s a sales organization, so lots of micromanaging re: hitting numbers and cold-calling clients. - Upper management is unprofessional and isn’t up to speed with new technology improvements. - Can be a catty/gossipy environment depending on line of business. - Environment gets roudy at times with people swearing/yelling in the office making it hard to talk on the phone. - Lows are very low in this job. If you aren’t hitting your numbers within your first 3 months, you WILL get the can. Lots of turnover here! - Overall, not worth going home everyday completely wiped out from mental stress. - They sell this job like you’re going to help people, which you do, but you quickly realize money is the main motivator in this culture/with upper management. - Not as ethical as they should be.

Good comp plan. Good management. Expectations and standards are high but achievable.

Cons

Job is very fast-paced, but that is to be expected at a staffing agency

Pros

Success with other departments - just not in mine

Cons

Complete bait and switch. I accepted this position under one manager, only to find out after resigning from my previous job that I would be reporting to someone else entirely. There was no meaningful onboarding, no training materials, and no support system in place. My manager openly stated that there was no monetary value in helping me succeed and made little effort to train or develop me. Requests to shadow and learn the business were dismissed in favor of keeping me on the phones. Instead of being set up for success, I felt actively prevented from growing. HR was equally disappointing. I raised legitimate concerns and never received a response. The organization talks about development and support, but my experience suggested otherwise. Joining this company was one of the biggest professional mistakes I have made.
