Pros

When I first started there was a lot of support from management and training to help get you to a starting point but that quickly went away. There are a lot of good people that work here but it’s a matter of getting on the right team but inevitably from higher ups you’re just a number and they make it known.

Cons

Robert Half has a “reasonable accommodations” policy that they can deem unreasonable depending on who is reviewing it… even if they’re reasonable and have been granted in previous work environments. There is just so much red tape with this and it’s really frustrating when you could be the highest performer in activity and growing hours but still get teared down, quite fired, and basically denied accommodations by management before you can request them. When I implemented the new metrics (because expectations were constantly changing) and showed drastic improvement it still wasn’t enough. For time off Robert Half gets out of granting employees sick leave by grouping PTO into it and calling it CTO… meaning if you catch the flu or something you’ll need to use your PTO and there isn’t extra time allotted to accommodate sick time. Lastly the company feels like a pyramid scheme meaning if one person leaves the team, the manager inherits all of the GM generated by that individual and can skyrocket to a top performer without actually putting in the effort so you need to get luck and hope someone leaves or work in another division that hasn’t been affected by the economy and ongoing layoffs.

Pros

Great in finding contracts for contract workers. They got me a remote job that allowed me to work from my home in the Midwest for a job in California.

Cons

Can be hard to reach at times.

Pros

Success with other departments - just not in mine

Cons

Complete bait and switch. I accepted this position under one manager, only to find out after resigning from my previous job that I would be reporting to someone else entirely. There was no meaningful onboarding, no training materials, and no support system in place. My manager openly stated that there was no monetary value in helping me succeed and made little effort to train or develop me. Requests to shadow and learn the business were dismissed in favor of keeping me on the phones. Instead of being set up for success, I felt actively prevented from growing. HR was equally disappointing. I raised legitimate concerns and never received a response. The organization talks about development and support, but my experience suggested otherwise. Joining this company was one of the biggest professional mistakes I have made.
