bonus is not comission, the manager decides your bonus based on how they like you. So they might decide to give you lesser bonus when the other teammate is not performing so that they can keep the bonus to the manager themselves.
Also, they change the salary into 1.5M per year base salary and the rest are subsidies, housing allowance and also consultant allowance, so when they let people go, the base salary is only the one they look at. Very shady and snake salary percentage
