Pros

- Office location - There is a pub right beside the office - Free water - good camaraderie amongst colleagues

Cons

Where do I begin - Management is delusional and practicing antiquated management techniques - Micromanagement is the only management - very cliquey and only the inner circle is treated well - ridiculous bureaucracy when it comes to making decisions - shady operations when working with contractors to get highest margin possible - force to post fake job ads and string candidates along to fill database - far too many to list.

Thank you for your feedback. We view employees’ input very seriously and SThree commits to creating a positive and collaborative work environment for the enjoyment of all. We are glad you enjoyed the camaraderie in the office. We are consistently working with our managers/employees to ensure we provide a professional and inclusive work environment in our offices. We have a number of initiatives in place to allow our employees a formal route for feedback including engagement surveys and our leaver feedback project. We welcome feedback from our staff to allow us to tackle concerns professionally. Building a positive working culture is important to us. We have the benefit of an experienced management team across the organisation – but there’s always room for improvement. We need to ensure that our managers are consistent in their approach, build strong, collaborative working relationships and support our culture. We are therefore making a commitment to continue to invest in their development. Thank you for your feedback and we wish you all the best with your future endeavours.

Pros

Great office building location, company culture, and generous PTO.

Cons

There is a large emphasis of meeting metrics and KPIs. Seems as though management is more focused on hitting daily numbers rather than celebrating actual wins. There is not a lot of training involved in the process of actually acquiring clients. First few months will be training and filled with lots of meetings about getting candidates for jobs that don’t exist. A lot of the job is luck and money is largely dependent on what area you’re working in and your managers connections as well. Definitely not a job where you should expect to make commission within your first year or two.
