As staff members we are also customers of Scotiabank. There are many factors that influence our loyalty to Scotiabank as customers, people who invest into Scotiabank financially. The way that we are treated within the workplace, the quality of customer solutions offered, and overall competitiveness with other financial institutions. There is a lot that needs improvement and sometimes being a Scotiabank employee and customer at the same time becomes conflicting. Other cons include a lack of leadership within the management structure, outdated processes, and employees forced onto to sales floor without proper or full training.

A couple of smart people who are kind and open to mentoring. Hours not bad given no deal flow in US.

Top heavy management. Culture values heavy politicking. Low bonuses.
