      Pros

      Decent work/life balance. Pension plan pretty good. Average health/dental benefits.

      Cons

      Lower wage than other oil & gas companies. Took management months to make decisions. Company has bad habit of hiring people who are not a good fit. Company relies too much on contractors to carry out tasks that should be done by employees. No opportunities for advancement if you are not an engineer.

      Shell is a wonderful company to work for. They truly support your continued development and many employees have been here for 20+ years. The work culture is one that provides a feeling of true psychological safety.
