      Pros

      Benefits, vacation time, family leave, a pension. Generally very respectful of dissenting beliefs and opinions. Company’s heart is in the right place.

      Cons

      Very tolerant of incompetence. Way over staffed with tons of deadweight employees. Highly variable work experience based on what area/group you work. Too bloated with middle managers who are clueless and survive by spewing corporate jargon to impress their superiors

      Shell is a wonderful company to work for. They truly support your continued development and many employees have been here for 20+ years. The work culture is one that provides a feeling of true psychological safety.
