Thank you for posting a review. I noticed your job title and location - we at Shell Energy don't have any cashier roles, or a presence in Rainham - we're predominately a call centre, providing home energy solutions for sustainability (not fuel stations) and our company, whilst part of the Shell Group, is separate to Royal Dutch Shell. Unfortunately, as we are a separate legal entity, I'm not able to raise your feedback to the relevant team. Can I suggest that you re-post your review on the main Shell page: https://www.glassdoor.co.uk/Overview/Working-at-Shell-EI_IE5833.11,16.htm so that it can be seen by the right people? Thank you, Ellen.

Pros

Early career engineers are given significant ownership and exposure to complex operational challenges. Strong focus on safety, technical development, and collaboration across disciplines. Opportunities to work on high-impact projects, interact with senior leadership, and contribute to decisions affecting major assets and infrastructure.

Cons

Workloads can be demanding, and priorities can shift quickly based on operational needs. Decision-making processes can be slow due to organizational complexity, and geographic mobility may be necessary for certain career opportunities.
